Nesting Update
One of the NZ dotterel nests started hatching last night. Of the three eggs, two have hatched and one is still be tended. There are two other nests that are at incubation stage, and a fourth that is in the process of being laid. Please give these vulnerable locals a chance to survive and thrive!

Nesting Update
Two tūturiwhatu (Northern NZ Dotterel) pairs are busy incubating their nests — that’s six precious eggs already, with more nests likely on the way! 💚 Let’s do our part to keep them safe — give nesting areas plenty of space and keep our kitties indoors from before dusk to after dawn. Every bit of care makes a big difference for the local Northern NZ dotterels. 🌿
